About Me
Ariana Katz, MPH | Sociobehavioral Research Consultant
I am an independent consultant, coach, and trainer dedicated to improving quality of care and reducing stigma in public health.
With a career spanning 20 years — including a decade at RTI International — I have deep expertise in designing and conducting multinational implementation science studies, program evaluations, and communications campaigns. My approach is rooted in empathy and "people-centered" methodologies, ensuring that research participants feel heard and respected.
My Current Focus
As the founder of Ariana Katz, LLC, I partner with organizations to solve complex challenges in patient retention and health equity. My recent work includes rapid qualitative analysis to support HIV care networks in the U.S. and capacity-building workshops for research teams in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Whether you need a partner to design a qualitative study from scratch, a coach to upskill your team in qualitative methods, or an expert to translate findings into strategy, I am here to help you make a lasting impact.
My Approach
My communication style is honest, direct, and deeply compassionate. I tell it like it is in with clarity and care. My goal is to create environments where people feel safe to ask questions, stretch their thinking, and learn by doing. I’m at my best when I’m helping people and teams unlock their insight, strengthen their voice(s), or find a new way forward.
I believe the work is richer when everyone feels ownership of it. My role is to guide, to champion, and to equip so individuals and teams can thrive, sustain their impact, and carry their work forward with confidence.
